Crows Nest will come alive on Sunday 18 October, with Crows Nest Fest 2026 bringing together local businesses, live entertainment, food, markets and family activities for a full day celebrating the Lower North Shore community.

Running from 10am to 5pm, the festival will transform the streets and laneways of Crows Nest into a vibrant community celebration, with more than 200 market stalls, four entertainment stages and plenty of opportunities to explore everything the village has to offer.

Best of all, entry is free, with activities and entertainment catering to all ages.

A Village Full of Things to Discover

Crows Nest Fest is more than a market day. It is an opportunity to experience the local businesses, creativity and community spirit that make the Lower North Shore unique.

Across the village, visitors can explore more than 200 stalls featuring specialty produce, fashion, jewellery, art, gifts, lifestyle products and sustainable goods. Local restaurants, cafés, bars and retailers will also be part of the festivities, providing plenty of reasons to stop, explore and discover somewhere new.

For food lovers, dedicated Gourmet Food and Food Truck Alleys will offer a range of international flavours and street food throughout the day.

Whether you are catching up with friends, making a family day of it or simply looking for something to do close to home, there will be plenty to see, taste and experience.

Live Music and Entertainment Across Four Stages

Music, dance and performance will feature throughout the festival, with four entertainment stages showcasing local talent and performers.

The Big Music Stage in Ernest Place will feature local talent and school performers, while the HATENA Stage will celebrate local dance schools, cultural groups and community performers.

The Base Music Stage will provide a platform for emerging student musicians and independent artists, alongside karaoke and interactive instrument discovery sessions.

For those looking for something a little different, Art.Beats.Bar will bring together DJs, live art and the popular Art Battle, where artists compete in fast-paced painting showdowns as festivalgoers watch their work take shape.

Roving performers will also move throughout the festival, bringing unexpected moments of entertainment to the streets and laneways.

Plenty for Families to Enjoy

Families will have plenty of activities to explore, with the Kids Zone returning with attractions including pony rides, a petting zoo, a circus playground, face painting and other family-friendly experiences.

Younger visitors can enjoy the activities on offer while parents explore the festival's food, markets and entertainment.

There will also be plenty happening beyond the dedicated family areas, with roving performers, live music and interactive experiences creating opportunities for the whole family to get involved.

Celebrating the Community

At its heart, Crows Nest Fest is about bringing people together.

The annual festival provides an opportunity for residents to connect with their neighbours, discover local businesses, support performers and community groups, and experience the character of the village in a different way.

Events like these play an important role in creating opportunities for people to connect beyond their usual routines, while supporting the local businesses and organisations that contribute to the Lower North Shore community.

For those who live, work or spend time in the area, it is an opportunity to experience what makes Crows Nest such a vibrant place to be.
