Power Play

• 2 minute power play - coaches can only use this within the first 44 minutes of the game, no power play in overtime.

• Power play can be used at the same time as the opposition team

• Coach can only request for power play during dead ball

• Parent responsible for timing the power play - on separate timer to game clock 

• Teal card to be held up by the coach and also a teal light to be on during power play

• Coaches to signal when they decide to use the power play

Game Rules

• 12 minute running clock quarters, fully timed in the last 2 minutes (if within 10 points)

• Shot clock - 24 reset

• Time outs - 2 in the first half, 3 in the second half (can only use 2 in the last 2 minutes), no time outs in overtime

• Team fouls - 5 team fouls per quarter, 5 personals for players each game

• No Norths sin bin rules

• 4 minute running clock overtime, then draw if score is still even

• Interval between extra time - 1 minute
