Casual Court Booking Instructions

Northern Suburbs Indoor Sports Centre will reopen for casual shooting Monday the 11th of October at 8:00am.

Daily operation times:

    • Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 9:00pm

    • Friday to Sunday 8:00am - 7:00pm

  • Open for casual shooting ONLY and no walk-ins are allowed.

  • Bookings are to be made on the hour only (e.g. bookings can be made at 8am, 9am, 10am, etc)

  • Bookings will be limited to 55 minutes (with 5 minutes of cleaning time for staff between bookings) and once the 55 minutes is up, you must immediately leave the facility.

  • Doors are closed between bookings. If you are late for a booking, you must call Norths on 02 9906 7877. We appreciate your cooperation.

  • Bookings for children under 18 may be accompanied by one fully vaccinated adult.

 

What type of bookings are available?

  • Currently only 10 people are allowed on each court in our stadium. Therefore, the following booking types and the maximum number of people per booking are allowed.

    • Half-court basketball: max 5 people ($40)

    • Full-court basketball: max 10 people ($77)

    • Netball: max 10 people ($77)

    • 1 Badminton court: max 4 people ($40)

    • 2 Badminton courts: max 8 people ($77)

    • Volleyball: max 10 people ($77)

  • Personal playing equipment will not be available to be borrowed from our facility due to Norths’ Hygiene Protocol (e.g. basketballs).

 

To make a booking

  • All booking requests are required to be completed over email at nsisc@nsba.com.au. All bookings are subject to confirmation by Norths.

  • The initial booking request email must be received before C.O.B. (5pm) the previous day.

  • Please put in the email subject “Booking Request: YOUR NAME” (e.g., Booking Request: John Smith).

  • In your email, the following details need to be included:

    • Booking type (eg basketball, badminton, netball, volleyball)

    • Booking start time

    • Number of participants

    • Individual’s full name and contact details (phone and/or email)

 

COVID-19 Entry requirements

  • Masks must be worn upon entry into NSISC and anytime when you are not participating in on-court activities.

  • If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, of any kind, please stay at home, and seek prompt medical advice. DO NOT attend.

  • If you are deemed unwilling to comply with Norths COVID Safety protocols by NSBA staff, you may be asked to leave. You must leave immediately if asked by Norths staff.

  • As per NSW Government guidelines, NSBA must verify the vaccination status of all patrons aged 16 years and over when entering our venues. The following ways can be used to show proof of your vaccination status:

    • Your COVID-19 digital certificate in your digital wallet.

    • the Express Plus Medicare mobile app

    • your Medicare online account through myGov

    • Australian Immunisation Register (printed copy only)

  • If you are unable to be vaccinated because of a medical contraindication, you must show NSBA staff your signed exemption from your doctor to be allowed to enter.

 

Attending your booking

  • COVID-Safe check-ins and proof of vaccination will be required for staff and customers.

  • Attendees are required to follow North’s Hygiene & Entry/Exit Protocols throughout their booking. This includes:

    • Temperature check and Sanitisation of hands-on arrival

    • Sanitisation of any balls or equipment brought in

    • Maintain social distancing when moving around the facility

  • Patrons must bring their own balls and equipment for use.

  • All attendees to use the EXIT under the Court 1 grandstand
